HELP - Steam Download Speed is insanely slow.

Is malaysia - KL server slowed right now? because i downloaded game on xbox , epic , they all give 400Mbps while in steam, 2Mbps and sometime Kbps... this is really stressful.

is there a no solution but to accept the stupidly slow download?

try changing your download region to Egypt - Cairo... it worked out for me...

thanks , it worked for me as well, but why tho what is happening? i tried changing to Singapore server and they are slow as well (2Mbps and sometime kbps). im hoping its temporarily only.

meh, i try downloading something on Epic Game, EA, Ubisoft, etc and get more download speed until my network provider limit, but at steam only get 500kbps ~ 2Mbps only

Just joking lol, but i think it's ok now.
I just updated some games. But for me STEAM is the fastest, the others also aren't that fast.
Only on STEAM I too exceed my ISP speed.

I have been having the worst time with downloads the past week in north america, download speeds dropping down to 10 megabits. If im lucky i can restore my download speed by both restarting my computer and clearing the steam download cache. But i cant find the problem, sometimes i think it has something to do with my browser and its tabs, but most of those are idle and nothing else is downloading, and why would steam care? other times its been weird, task manager showing triple the steam download speed but being slow still.

already changed to egypt (YNWA) server, confirm can download at normal speed, hopefully can switch back to KL server soon
