Open Steam,
Go to Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings,
UNCHECK "PlayStation Configuration Support" (and maybe "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support" too if it's on),
Restart your PC after doing this.
2. Make sure Steam isn’t running in the background.
Even after closing Steam's window, it can still run minimized. You can:
Right-click Steam in your system tray (bottom-right near the clock),
Choose Exit Steam fully.
Now your controller should be "free" for Roblox and other apps.
3. If you want Roblox to recognize your PS5 controller properly.
Roblox doesn’t have the best native controller support on PC. Sometimes, you might need to:
Connect your PS5 controller via USB for best compatibility,
Or use DS4Windows (a free tool) to map the controller as an Xbox controller, which most PC games recognize easier.
