You should, by the way, change your prerogative to "I won't be adding a single cent to my account until I've learned about online security" as there's no way to get scammed without a mistake of yours.
Imagine your account has been hijacked and a scammer used it to scam other people.
Would you want your account to be permanently banned or even deleted?
To help solidify the issue, as mentioned before a lot of accounts used in scams are hijacked. It's not like scammers are using, or even really have, their own personal accounts. So your account gets hijacked and used in scams, and you finally recover it. How harsh do you want to be penalized so other victims can feel avenged?
The flipside victims accounts can get banned, bans are against the account. And it doesn't matter who is in possession of the account. So sometimes we see topics where someone's account was hijacked and now they're banned in CS2. And they don't think that's fair. And the response is, "keep your account secure".
