Can't play Red Dead Redemption

Hello!

I bought this game a few years ago and decided to finally play it, but I have to use a Rockstar account. The account linked to my steam has a e-mail adres I have not used for 8+ years and don't know the password. I cant remember having this issue with GTA5.

Rockstar support is petty much worthless right now and only has automatic responses even when I have proof of purchase.

Is there any way to bypass this system or does this mean I can enver play any future rockstar games on this accunt?

You'll have to recover your rockstar account. It can't be bypassed.

You'll have to make a new Steam account and a new rpckstar account if you can't recover the old one.

I'd also recommend using a fully featured password manager like keepass or bitwarden for example to help manage your accounts, including recovery info. You're living the results of being cavalier about it. Maybe time to level up your account management stat.

I already use password manager. It's just that I made a rockstar account for Max payne 3 10+ years ago lol. Had no clue this was permanently linked to my steam account.

Well bad luck I quess..
