Sticky controller
One of my Ps5 controllers has become sticky to the touch for no reason.

I have wiped it down with wet wipes then dried it off many times but it remains sticky.

It just sits on my shelf until I use it I dont eat messy food when I play videogames.

Im tempted to just throw it away because when I use it I have to wash my hands before doing anything else.

Try wiping it down with high percentage alcohol. If it doesn't work just replace it

Tends to happen with soft plastics like controller joysticks.

People seem to have various solutions, but I haven't tried any of them so not sure what to recommend. A lot of people seem to be saying you'll straight up have to remove to coating once it starts to become sticky.
