is it possible that a game with 60 hours of play doesnt drop last card?
in 15 years on steam this is the first time something like this happened to me. there is just one card drop remaining for wallpaper engine, and it's not dropping. 60 hours and counting.
did i break steam somehow or something? did it bug out? is there anything i can do or anyone from steam i can talk to, support wise?
i dont even need that card, its just OCD in me ticking.

Typically only about half the cards drop from playing the game, of course that's half in quantity, no guaranteed all the allotted drops will be unique. You usually have to trade for the remaining cards or purchase the remaining cards from the community market. Is wallpaper engine an exception? If it is, where did you get that info from?

no no thats not what i mean. i know that. there were 3 drops available, 2 cards dropped, and last one isnt droppin (rest i have to buy/trade), but that one card - it even says 1 card drop remaining and its not dropping and its making me crazy. i have collected all droppable cards on my account (that are dropped from playing/running the application), but not this last one card.

Good luck with that... I have a game that says there are still 3 drops remaining while I've already gotten the three drops that are available for the game...

And support can't even answer except to say "What"?, we can't help with that"... after the first for replies that had NOTHING to do with the issue at all. Seems support doesn't read either, just like the moderators here...

well, this is it, i guess im s****ed forever. my account is bugged forever.

Yea, in a nutshell. Support said they have no control over the website Valve has made... which makes ZERO sense. Between this and another issue that ONLY support could help with but we just kept getting BS responses that had nothing to do with the issues, my wife and I just gave up.

As support has become so ludicrous, we have decided to not spend much here anymore... it's a pretty sad state of affairs. We no longer trust anything Valve says or does anymore.

I guess it is random if you don't know about it, but these are the rules. Private means no drops, because people could find the cards in your inventory and assume that you played that game based on that, even though it was privated...

It would be better if Steam just straight up said that to the users checking in on the carddrop info though.

Wait until you get the standard replies from support before you decide that it's "overkill". I've watched this platform go right downhill for the last several years now, I don't expect it will ever get better again.

BTW, epic? No. Just another gaming company I want nothing to do with. There are a few more that have made my ♥♥♥♥ list over the last couple decades. With the killing of this platform, I think I'm about done collecting games. probably get anything else directly from one of the retailers on ITAD, when on sale cheap.

Somehow, I doubt that was the intention but sure as ♥♥♥♥ the result that they've instigated...

You will not receive Steam Trading Cards for the game while it is marked as Private.
