Keys and 3rd party sites
Hey guys! I have already made this post on reddit, but im posting it here too so i can get more answers and help. I was wanting to buy a Hogwarts Legacy key on a 3rd party website, but I was wondering about the risks of doing so. If the key was purchased with a cloned/stolen card or the key purchase was refunded, and I buy it and redeem it, what could happen to me? Like, there's no way for me to know if the key is legal or illegal.

the key will be revoked and you will lose access to the game. Of course, there won't be any refunds because those shady sites will attempt to string you along so you give up on the lost money.

Buy cheap, buy twice.

But will something happen to my account itself? Like a ban or any kind of penalty?

No, key revocation has no consequences on the account itself.

The only penalty for you is money if you don't issue a chargeback.

Sites listed from IsThereAnyDeal are all legal.
