Help Finding Legit Single Player Titles
Good day! My searching skills are seriously inept here, as I seem to be completely missing something that should be clearly visible for any titles here. Specifically, I'm wondering how to limit my searching to titles that have legit offline single player modes available. Where no internet connections are required, I'm meaning. I'm finding that quite a few titles that require consistent internet connections don't show this in their system requirements. Can anyone tell me what I might be overlooking, please?

By far the most singleplayer games work fine offline, those requiring a connection are the exception.

Play past gen games most of them have huge chance not get a update ever.

Any game devs has right to chnage its files and add a launcher ( aka total war serie's has all in one launcher ) despite they was standalone once in a time.

And ppl witha connection migh like that launcher so its not that simple then coup was the clue here in what total war do coup want to play, assume they have a voice connection.

ps.
and what prevent you from play older games like fallout1 and all the other cult single player games once made.

i have not test all then old games if they have launch issue, atm steam only support win10 title stanfard post almost at all past OS for each game.

Thank you for the replies. There really should be something, but I had thought that I might be overlooking a key filter or tag. I haven't discovered any that I can rely on for this this purpose. "Souls-like" seems to refer more to the difficulty level than forced multiplayer mode. Then, too, "Single player" doesn't properly filter out titles that force multiplayer modes. Ah well, such is life. Thanks anyhow. If anyone does have any suggestions that might work, do tell, please.

What prevent you from boot into a none network solution forever, its not recommended anymore, but aient that exatly what your pc will do then you have no ISP or wallplug aka router..

if i and other need to explan Ms ip adr.. to you then you have never been without network and this post look like OP try make a pc so other can play at it with hes account. ( this is pure logic )

So technicaly your post in itself is a issue , you are not allowed to share your account out its a personal steam user account and you are the only user.

any here can tell you , you eill get a ms account with no network , unless you have a router attached with DHCP services, so you do have network.

and lack understanding in network and what MS will do if you have no DHCP server or router.
any technician or IT support know this its basic knowledge.

Well, "Souls-like" isn't a difficulty level but rather the style of the game. It is inherently difficult but due to the design of the game which the player finds themselves battling increasingly difficult boss fights.

"Singleplayer" simply means there is a single player component to the game. It does not rule out games that may also have multi-player modes.

Remember, though, tags are not game categories. They are meant to provide more details about a game. If a FPS game has one mission that requires you to race something, like a car, plane, spaceship, whatever, the game will most likely get tagged as "Racing", even though it is not itself a Racing game.

Op dont know game devs make app to access network and dummy MS ip adr is needed or it will hurt pc performance, and we are back at steam and windows require ip adr. whatever network into steam is there or ISP.

we cant change what game devs did if they go online or try to do it.

So technicaly all that offline mode is dead. ( your pc require ip adr or suffer in performance. )
its either a MS adr or dhcp pool with network ) or very old games that dont use internet.

aka fallout 1 untill game devs made it so. ( they have every right to change and update game files ) nothing we can do about it.

Example
total war serir's have been added a game launcher that will go online and update its content.
no such thing as offline mode.

skyrim workshop mod will be version checked and get removed in offline mode, you need made them read only. ( as i said offline mode is dead )

you need games that dont use mods or as i said is old games that dont use network at all. ( many older games do this )
