Steam Guard on Alcatel Apprise

I have a really old phone, an Alcatel apprise. My steam guard authenticator and steam app are on this phone.

All morning, I couldn't open the steam store or my own profile, only the steam guard tab. It only just started working again now inexplicably. I am worried this device might be on the tail end of running this app.

I want to move the authenticator itself to another device to ensure I don't lose account access if phone stops being able to handle it.

Everything online says to select "move authenticator" option, but I have gone through every menu and have no such option.

Is it possible to move the authenticator itself to a steam deck or does it have to be another phone? Also, how do I do that?

So long as the number for the phone does not change from the number set on your Steam account, you can just redownload the mobile authenticator on the new phone with no issues.
