You can try unplugging USB devices that you don't require.
Yeah, I've got the same issue. The problem appears to happen less frequently when I use my very old, hardwired Xbox 360 controller. When I use my Bluetooth controller, the steering can "play up" several times per lap.
It's a real pain having to quit races after crashing out of the lead due to steering failure!!
What version of Windows are you running? I've heard that version 24H2 of Windows 11 has loads of bugs that affect gaming. On my PC I'm running version 23H2 of Windows 11 Pro (I've put a registry block on upgrading to 24H2 until Microsoft has got it's act together and got rid of all the bugs in the system !!). LOL.
