the games started to lag sharply, only with steam
about a month ago, all my games started to slow down dramatically (as it turned out, only steam games). I've been dealing with the computer for a month.

The frequencies do not drop during the game, there is no overheating. I checked all the components with the test, everything is fine (OCCT, aida, memtest, etc.) . I tried changing the graphics card and power supply , but it didn 't help . I cleaned the computer , wiped the contacts with an eraser . I tried to play on other devices, in particular, I wanted to check the mouse with headphones, I saw people with Bluetooth devices lagging. I changed Windows twice (it was 10 pro twice, now it's 11 pro), played on a reset bios, then put only xmp RAM. I installed the swap file , tried various settings for performance , and removed programs from startup . In the task manager, the memory is not clogged with anything at all. I played by wire and Wi - Fi , changed the mains filter , and played from another outlet . I disabled something in the registry , disabled HPET in the device manager . I rolled back the drivers , installed new ones - nothing helps at all . Yesterday I installed the visual c++ and vcredist libraries - it didn't help either

My system :
4060 palit dual
Ryzen 5 7600
Gskill ripjaws s5 6000 (30-40-40 timings) 32gb
Msi B650 m a pro wifi
Deepcool pf600
Ssd m2 patriot viper vpn100 512gb

A month ago, games like cs2, deadlock, were running smoothly at 250-400 fps. Then the lags started abruptly, with drawdowns of almost 0 fps. In the dead island 1,2 game series and its add-ons, there are also very strong drawdowns. Moreover, these brakes come spontaneously, after 10 minutes, after 2-3 hours.

for the sake of experiment, I installed fortnite as a non-steam game. I played for about 6 hours, everything was smooth, 400 fps on average. After the game, I decided to go into deadlock, launched an empty map without bots, AAHHAHAHA, I IMMEDIATELY HAD 150 FPS WITH LAGS FROM THE FIRST LAUNCH, WHEN OPENING THE STORE 20 FPS, IT JUST CAN'T GIVE OUT MORE THAN THESE 150-200 FPS FOR SOME REASON.
I decided to log back into fortnite after that, everything is very smooth. Then I went back to deadlock, and it's also lagging. And so I did a few laps, Fortnite is running smoothly, and other steam games are lagging. And only a complete restart of the computer helps, although this did not happen a month ago.

It turns out that the problem is not in my computer, but in steam games, specifically from valve i think, probably. Well, I can't believe in my life that a completely new computer for about $ 1200 gives literally 0 fps in such games.

How can I fix this? thank you in advance. I can't write to tp steam, error 8 is always there

I tried disabling igpu, it didn't solve the problem.

Manually check the GPU preference in Windows settings (System > Display > Graphics) and set Steam games to use High Performance
