Call of duty on Steam and Battle net
Hello.

I just bought Black ops 6 on steam and saw that it weighs at least 200gb. I play warzone on battle net. Call of duty is also installed there. The problem is that I only have 230gb ssd space left.

My question is. What can I delete or maybe put files together to free some space and dont have double games on different platforms. That would help a lot at first before buying a new ssd

thanks

Well the game probably requires battle.net anyway so that may help. But in general, while it may not be strictly impossible it sounds labor intensive and any updates are likely to break things or cause issues if black ops 6 is served from Steam.

It might be easier to refund black ops 6 on Steam and get it on Battle.net
On the games details page of the game in your library, scroll down and look to the right hand column for DLC and click on manage my X DLC, check/uncheck what you do/don't want.

Alternatively, right click the game in your library, select properties and then the DLC tab, check/uncheck what you do/don't want.

Thanks for the fast response. I dont think they require battle for that. I dont really understand your reply but, is it an option to delete battle net and its games and get warzone on steam?
CoD only requires an Activision account. No Battle.net required.

WZ is free on Steam as well, yes. You can have all of it on Steam and uninstall WZ on Battle.net .

Edit: Just looked and BO6 with WZ '24 in the the DLC tab show an install size of 121.16GB.

Thx guys, helped me out here
Just be aware of Tuesday maintenance on Steam. Every Tuesday at about 3PM Pacific Time, Steam has server maintenance and that will make you lose connection in game (profile signed out error).

It is 100% Activision's fault for relying on the connection to Steam's host servers for their always online game.

Just a heads up.
