Discord message: I was mistakenly reported for "doing illegal buying product"

Hey all, I got this message from someone on Discord:
"Because, this is what really happen i accidentally report your account for doing illegal buying product instead of someone else and the steam moderator said that there is a higher chance your account will be suspended and your IP will be blocked on steam if there is no action, I suppose to report the guy who steal my stuff that i listed on market i thought it was you because the same profile picture but now i cant reach him anymore he changed everything also the profile that's why i mistakenly report you."

(naturally, I didn't do the things he described me doing)

Of course, I was first wary of it being a scam, but he hasn't given me files/links or asked for my account details.

So now I've scoured the Steam support site, but I can't find a way to make a ticket that describes this issue.

Should I contact Steam Support (and if so, how??), or just let it slide?

Just report any users of their respective platforms this occurred.
