First time trading
I just got into trying to earn trading cards, I gained all I could from the drops of just playing and I need the rest to make a badge but have never traded before. What are good things to look for in traders, what is something I should look out for for scams, etc etc. What i'm getting at is is there anything / tips I should know to help me start trading? any suggestions are appreciated !!

If you have any doubts that it is a completely fair trade then cancel the trade.
Ask friends or even the forum if X trading for Y is fair. Once you have certainty that it is not a scam feel free to proceed. You might also get what you're looking for from the Steam Market or if its in-game items, use crafting rather than outright purchase or trades.

Some people get trade bans having not traded but someone offers them a wacky deal and of course refused. I think that situation has gotten MUCH better, but they used to just take the reporter's word for it and ding your account. Appeal any bans through Steam Support tickets.

With that out of the way have a very safe day and remember to have fun.
