Steam games Bluescreening PC

Games like Big ambitions, Kenshi, Satisfactory, etc. are all bluescreening my pc, which never happens. I don't have any malware, the stop code is CRITICAL-PROCESS-DIED, all drivers are updated, no overheating issues, etc. Nothing should be going wrong and, before, nothing had gone wrong, but recently everything has been bluescreening and it is only Steam Games! Please tell me someone knows how to fix this

Steam itself is mostly just DRM and a launcher. There's nothing special about running games from Steam versus anywhere else.

If you're sure it's not the games, check to see if you're overclocking or otherwise running your hardware out of spec. If so, you should stop. You should also probably check to see if the memory is good. I can't even recall the last time my RAM died on me, but your hardware is getting a bit old, and nothing lasts forever.

Is BIOS update part of yuo explanation with all Drivers is update. ( and i bet we assum its from Brand support not windows is updated )

Other issue dont get caught in OS problem.

This is your problem to test for this, and hope its not that. ( or in your case you should hope for this was the problem ) because, if you did all right then you are in troube.

Dont forget we other here look at your post and it look like you know what you are doing, but then you have a new issue why do you crash its here, you might not be a pro, and i and other call this today. expert or whatever word, in the south the use word like Master, so its all depend how we look at it.


just to make it clear BSOD is not a steam issue its a Driver issue or hardware that dont do as it should, even the OS can sometimes be part of the problem, then it get old and outdated. ( and i bet thats not the case here )


Other old tip remove controll and all other none esstial things to just play a game.

this mean 1 monitor mouse keyboard, ( some same back to old pc ways to reduce all other attached unit, ( this sounds stupid today, but do you need a printer or other things like this that could casuse issue , no game controller even. )

Sorry if you notice other steam post might not update, thats your choise , but dont count other will bother with help many ppl with pc issue,

We will change all help wilh is BIOS update if not have a niceday in every post. just wait and see.


As it out job to tell ppl here to Update BIOS its not its already explan in the pc manual.

Win11 update 24H2 is a mess, if you are using this update, that is your issue.

If you installed the new .Net Framework update, look into that as a possible fault also.

And again you fail in every detail steam has 50% of its user in win11 and they dont complain at all.

Think over what im saying here 50% of 1 billion acconet is win11. from 3december, this is not that case with all.

You should have said might or could be.

MS dont fix other Brands screwup Driver , and again we have to explan or deal with what you think MS do.

MS can't and will not fix other Brand IT company own issue with its driver.

If you dont graps MS recive them Driver From screwup IT comnpany, and they dont care if they even work at all, MS try test is dont make a BSOD and sign them, but we all know things and next update and change can cause new issue, and again not a MS problem.

Let other IT compnay proof its MS that did the mistake, thats why the border edge in how/who is responsible for every little detail.

It's like you miss the point or is hes friend, steam has 500.000 millions steam user with win11, we will be flooded here, this is not the case from 3 december,

Ms do not fix Nvidia or AMD gpu drivers or logitec mouse driver or whatever Other brand Product and its driver , MS recive it from them Brand product, and that still dont make it a MS issue. with Signed or not signed driver.

OP check your board manual or online PDF if thats the case, i bet it should say somewhere pc require Maintaence and Bios update if needed.

Its not steam job or game devs job or MS job to tell you have pc updated.

Maybe we should link where i and other get info on how many are in win11 here. ( so you get it with 50%+ steam user is on win11, ( And they dont seem to have a windows update issue with it from 3dec., steam will be floded with user that think its a steam or windows issue.
