Why there is no more info about sale duration anymore?
e.g. Look at "Sniper Elite 5" and try to find out how long the discount action will be. You wont find any information and the same goes for many other games. @Steam: Is the duration a secret?

What secret? You have info on main page of the store.

Only a few (e.g. State of Decay) inform you about duration but most dont. Why is there no information as it has been before?

So the Date and Time on the Main Shop page isnt enough?

Which "Main Shop page"? Usually there is an information above the actual price if it is on sale. Why do I have to search for a "Main Shop page" and why a few offers still offer this information? This makes absolutely no sense at all!

There is a big banner right at the top of the Steam store. It tells you about the duration of the sale.

Faedrill was kind enough to link the "main shop page".

This https://store.steampowered.com/

Look at "State of Decay 2" and "Sniper Elite 5" and compare. It is ok if Steam dont want to make too transparent but then some customers probably miss the sale.

After I asked and btw I am never on this side. I have my wishlist and I check the titles for sales and for the duration of this sale. Usually there was an information (e.g. "State of Decay 2") and now there is none which led me to my question?

Guess it is a classic dev problem!
I've noticed that the games I own do not show how long they are on sale for. Games which I do not own however, show how long they are on sale for, such as I don't own State of Decay 2 but it says Offer Ends in 27:03:09.

This is when the Winter sale ends, which is shown on the Big Banner on the main store page. So, if a game is on sale in the Winter Sale (now) there is a good chance that the current discount will probably end when the Winter Sale ends which on the banner states that as being on the 2nd Jan 2025 10 AM Pacific Time.

"if", "good chance" and "probably". You name it. If this will happen with a local authority in a partially not well developed country it might be ok. But these devs earn more money than most of us and Steam is a leading platform, no THE leading platform.
And afair (remember) owned games even dont show the actual price. But until now you could see price and the duration of a sale beside the actual price. Now you can see it only in a few games (i named one) and mostly not.
Actually I cant even delete games directly from my wishlist. There is "delete" button but it is just a joke. And yes I already started my computer and logged in again.

I say good chance and probably because I have seen games remain on sale after a sale ends.

Owned games do actually show the price of games, otherwise how would I know the price of a game if I was to send it to my son or someone else...

The sale ends tomorrow if you want a game grab it before the sale ends, you know when it is ending.

Now we're moaning about wish lists?? Seems you're just complaining for the sake of it. You really should eat something with that whine, so I got you some cheese :cheese::fvcheese::w_cheese:
Titles participating in the event that are on sale until the end will have no dates because they end when the event does. Any still on sale afterwards will show their end dates again.
