DOWNLOADING ''BLACK DESSERT'' GAME

After many hours of trying downloading 'black dessert', it reached 60% and then i paused it and shut down the PC(i usually do this method on downloading games), next morning, i opened my pc,got into steam to continue my download and surprisily it has been to 0%, does anyone knows why? shouid i try it again ?

That happens if a game gets a patch/update during the time you paused the download.
Steam then checks the game files when you try to continue the download and sees that the files on the Steam servers are newer and restarts the download from the beginning.
It can be annoying.
Especially with games like MMO and such like in this case that get a lot of regular updates.
Best advice i can give, let the download run through without ever pausing/stopping it.
You can just leave the download running over night, nothing can happen.
