Games on steam fail to launch

I play mostly Elden Ring and Football Manager. I have had problems with getting games to launch. Additionally once i manage to get football manager to launch it always crashes and shuts-down automatically. The steam client after about 3 or 4 failed attempts to launch a game without success the steam client says easy anti-cheat isn't installed. However it is installed and I have no problems launching Halo games via the xbox for pc client. Those games also use easy anticheat. I recently tried clean install of steam and Elden Ring to see if the problem would be fixed, however now Elden ring doesn't launch at all. The loading goes upto 100% on the loading screen then the loading screen disappears and the game launch gets aborted automatically.

I have steam, steam games, and easy anti-cheat on my VPN bypasser. But even when i disconnect my VPN and close the vpn client games won't launch.

I am completely baffled by this problem and need expert help!
