Game not working, no refund!

Hello, I have the game Heroes of Might And Magic 7. Unfortunately, the game does not start at all, it crashes when starting the game.

Steam rejects a refund, why if the game does not work?

When writing to the manufacturer, the manufacturer tells me to reset Windows and other inexplicable things that I do not know how to do. WHEN BUYING THE GAME, I AM SUPPOSED TO RECEIVE IT PLAYABLE AND NOT WITH CRASHES. This is a violation of consumer rights!

I ask for an immediate refund and removal of the non-working product!

When did you buy the game? Steam offers a refund for all products that have not been played for more then 2 hours and where the purchase is not older then 14 days ago.
BOTH of those requirements have to be fullfilled.

If your refund request gets rejected you must be outside the refund policy limits in some form.

Yeah, you cant get a refund for a game you bought 2 years ago. The limit is 14 days.
The refund policy is not a " this game has to run for the rest of eternity on every system or i get a refund" guarantee.

You could have much more luck with searching for a fix for your specific problem. Often there are workarounds to make older games run on newer OS.
And even if you cant get it to run, thats life. Some older games just wont run on current OS.

There are no authorities.^^
Steam´s refund policy falls under the wider Digital Goods act of the EU ( which Poland is part of) and you also agreed to those conditions when making your Steam account and everytime you buy a game.
But please, go ahead.

But the game runs. Just not on your hardware/OS combination. Thats not the fault of the game per se.
You are free to play the game on a system it was made for and it will most likely work fine.

You expect a game to run on all future hardware and OS combinations after you purchase it one time.
Thats just not realistic. Especially for a game that got mediocre reviews and basically no support after launch because of bad sales like Heroes 7.

You've made a big assumption that the game is fundamentally broken, when it clearly isn't or all those people playing it on modern hardware and OS's would be complaining it doesn't work.

Just because you can't be bothered to troubleshoot don't expect a refund.

They told you it would work or not on Windows 11. No guarantee was given.

The limits are WITHIN 2 weeks of purchase AND with LESS than 2 hours of playtime.

i play this 1 hour and 30 hours try play the game and get all time crashes. And i cant get refunds?? BUAHAHAH
