My account has been hacked - Games are now on another's person library
Hi,
I’m reaching out here to ask for some advice.

Recently, I received an email indicating that the password for my account had been changed, which seemed surprising. However, I assumed that maybe my password had leaked.
At that moment, I simply recovered my account and changed the password. Once that was done, I left my account as it was.

But a few weeks later, I decided to play a game of Slay the Spire, and to my surprise, I realized that I no longer owned the game (on which I had logged 200 to 300 hours). Upon further investigation, I discovered this was the case for many games in my Steam library – most of them, in fact. The only thing displayed now is that these games are associated with an account in the US (B_eazy35), which I absolutely do not know.

I’ve done some research before creating my own post on Reddit, but I still don’t understand how this person managed to take my games and add them to their library.

Could you help me? Can you explain what might have happened and how I can recover all these games, please?

Accounts are phished not hacked.

You gave away all your account details.

The account name, the password and the KEY to the door, the Steam Guard Mobile code giving them access to the account.

How? by either logging into a known scam site or sites, tailored malware on your PC, the vote for my team scam, you have a pending ban scam on Discord, free knife click the link etc.

How does Steam (a program) know it is not you when all the account details are correct? It doesn't, therefore any action taken on your account is seen as you doing said actions.

The alternative is not plausible:

1) Someone would have to "GUESS" your account name from "millions of possible combinations".

2) Next they would have to "GUESS" your password from "millions of possible combinations" and then match it to your account name with "millions of possible combinations".

3) And finally they would have to "GUESS" the Steam Guard Mobile code "which changes every 30 seconds" to match both your account name and password to then have access your account.

1. Are you sure you logged in the correct account? (it's very easy to forget which account is which if you have multiple accounts)

2. Check your purchase history (easy to tell if your on the right account as it will show what games have been brought on that account)

Games can not be moved to other accounts, but they can be deleted or hidden. If you suspect they have been deleted just go the Steam Support and type in the name of the game missing, click on it and select restore package, this will put the game back into your library.

Yeah, no. You can't move games to other accounts. He probably just "removed" them via the supportpage. You should be able to get em all back going to the supportpage, selecting the games choosing "it is not in my library"
