My PS4 controller keeps disconnecting and reconnecting but only on steam games

I've tried changing power saving settings and Plug and Play but nothing worked. It's totally fine outside of steam games and in steam games it just starts happening. The LED light turns yellow and then off and it turns off for a few seconds. Steam Support just told me to ask here lmao

Idk anything about PS4 controllers on Steam PC, but maybe try to start the controller AFTER loading Steam if you have not tried that already and turn off "Start Steam on PC Startup" in the Client Settings because it can cause bad issues, so I have personally seen.

It's off and I am doing that

When my xBox controller does this, it is usually from an out-of-date firmware, so maybe try this Sony app: PlayStation® Accessories[controller.dl.playstation.net]

Maybe it's just Steam idk really because I have never used a Sony controller on a Windows PC in my life - hope you find your solution tho - perhaps try this Steam forum:
