vac banned on rainbow six on steam when I only own it on epic games and my accounts not even banned

My steam says I have a vac ban on rainbow six siege even though I was never banned on steam it was epic games and I only own it on epic games does anyone know how to fix this, steam support doesnt help at all

You have a GAME ban not a VAC ban. Rainbow six does not use VAC.

Are you sure the ban is for rainbow six?

Regardless you will have to talk with the game's devs or whatever 3rd party anti-cheat they use. They are the only ones that can remove the ban.

Steam support cannot remove GAME or VAC bans.

i thought that was a vac ban i just dont understand why it would show up on steam when I onlt own it on epic gamesa

Are both your Epic and Steam accounts linked to Uplay? That might explain it as it's a UBI game, regardless of which store you bought it from.

Yea I just noticed that they are both connected, But the issue is I was unbanned in rainbow six seige but it still says im banned on steam and its not allowing me to upvote or comment or rate on games anymore because of it

A game dev must submit the request for the ban to be removed from the users Steam account through the developer's Steamworks partner account.

It's all pretty much automated once the game dev makes the request. It's like an API call to have it removed. This is usually done in bulk so the Steamworks partner doesn't have to keep doing this over and over.

Valve can't make that input on behalf of the game developer.

tl'dr... Keep pestering Ubisoft support. They may do the ban removal calls in bulk.
