Steam Recording | Terrible Microphone Quality

I'm trying the new recording feature in Steam, but the main issue is the sound. I have a Blue Yeti microphone, and when recording with Steam's feature, the microphone is terribly loud, while the game audio is very low. Additionally, I hear unpleasant clipping that I never experienced with OBS, even without VST plugins. I have no idea how to fix it. I disabled automatic gain control in Steam's recording settings, but the sound is still terrible.

Test own mic in discord or skype to hear own playback of recorded piece of data, just in case this is the issue.
