"The latest version of Microsoft DirectX(r) is required to play *blank game*" (Help Please)

I recently bought a few new games from the summer sale and installed them, well 2 at least, when I click play it required latest version of directx. Mine is directx 11 the game required directx 9. I also tried downloading the directx from the link, which gave me internal error refer to dxerror.log and directx.log. I tried to fix this problem also, as i extracted the items from dxwebsetup.exe and opened dxwsetup.exe which worked. Ultimately my games doesn't run, I tried many many solutions, none of them worked, anyone out there please save my life by helping me.
