Steam Keys from Different countries.

Hi there, I really want to purchase this game, but I have to buy a russian key from a russian web site.

So... Will it activate on my account (I am from the US)? And will it be able to be in english?

And if I needed to use a VPN, could that ban my account (or stop me from playing my games)?
I really don't want that to happen, because my account is worth over $1,000.

Using VPN could get your account permanently locked. I wouldn't risk that.

Thanks! That would be very bad! Do you know if the Russian Key would work in the US? (It wasn't specified that it was global)

Russian keys only work in Russia. If you use a VPN for region rigging purposes; your account will be terminated. Only purchase from reptuable retailers online outside of Steam - the keys may be stolen, fraudulently obtained or simply region locked if you purchase from unathorised sellers.

The game is 007 legends, and Ubisoft's license to distribute James Bond games expired. So they had to remove the game from steam. The only way to get it now is to find a foreign key seller, or someone that has the gift in their inventory.

For some reason, there are no sellers available in the US.

Oh, that is a decent reason I didn't expect.

I would stick to trading then, at least then you can check if the game that is being offered works in your region.
