My Monster Summer Game is bugged. Can't do a thing.

I joined a game early and it was with friends. I did not get the option to buy items and can not do a thing but watch levels go by as they play. I have reloaded browsers. It happens in Steam Client as well. I've logged off logged on cleared cache nothing is working. It is as if I somehow got bugged from the start and now can't choose any items or see anything but am at a high level for just 'being' in that room.

I do not want to leave the game as I won't be able to rejoin it. I have actually tried to leave it but can't (still don't want to leave it).

Anyone find a fix for this problem?

It's bugged in all browsers and in steam the same way. It's on steam's end.

Same issue here. Stuck at level 1 and the team is at 6k. I bet Steam will just leave me hanging and lose out on today's event.
