can you split your library in where its saved for ssd install
I want to buy a ssd to speed up my loading times in a game. However the ssd is not big enough to hold all my steam games. Is it possible to have some steam games on the ssd and some on my current hybrid drive?

Steam allows u to span your Library across as many drives as u like.
It's Origin and Uplay that only allow one location.

Install OS and Steam Client to SSD.
Where the Steam install is by default will have one Library Game location; in Steam Client > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders ~ u simply add a new location. Upon installing any App/Game in Steam u pick where it goes.

I split my library between an ssd and an hdd. Every time you install a game it will ask you where you want to install it just make sure you place the games into the correct drive.

install steam again to another drive but i think you should do that to another computer!
it works perfectly.

Install Steam again? What do u mean? You can only have it installed once. You make no sense here. What I and Nazerlash said already is correct with regards to what the OP asked.

no, i already tried it, i have to steams in my harddrive and also in my usb & it works just fine.

you just need to enter your steam on your USB so you can play your games that are installed in that universal serial bus.

now that makes sense.

I get what you're saying. You mean we can move the game files to a separate drive and redirect Steam to recognize the new location. This has been a feature of Steam for some time already.

But that's not what the OP is looking for.

U don't need to re-install Steam or have more then one Steam Client per system; if u are doing it this way, that is completely wrong.

Install Steam Client to C; go into Steam Client and setup as many Libraries as u need, done.
It's just that simple.
