Crafting badges but no summer cards dropping, what gives?

I've prepared sets to craft badges during summer sale I just crafted 3 badges for 3 different games but none dropped a sumer sale card. What I am missing?

I just checked my inventory. It looks like the notifications on them being added aren't working, but the cards are buried in there. Just search for summer.

Ya it doesn't seem like you get cards for crafting the "summer badge" itself.. but you get cards from crafting badges from other games....

Indeed, that is because getting a badge for sumemr sale will enable you to play the monster game which itself drops cards. so you wouldnt get them multiple times.

Hmm I wonder where my additional summer card from crafting a badge is? According to the info on steam (quote): "Craft a game badge. Starting June 1st, crafting a game badge earned you a Summer Sale trading card rather than a coupon, so if you crafted a badge in the last week you’re already ahead of the game. During the sale, each game badge you craft will get you an additional Summer Sale trading card."

I crafted 3 badges, after the sale the started. I got 3 summer cards rather than coupons, but I didn't get those additional cards mentioned.

It's just badly worded. As they say "Forgive my bad English I'm American" :p
They just mean that you will get a summer card drop from crafting a badge even during the sale.
