If you get this:

There was a problem trying to join a game. Please try again later.

...but clicking on 'Join a friends game' - and selecting a game 'in progress' - worked for me. Sounds like others^ have had success with this workaround as well.

Can't join as well. I played for a few minutes yesterday and that's it. Got lv 70 though without playing

I've been able to play the whole night yesterday, ended lvl 25. This morning while i was boring at work, i connect just to do some click and ... my profile was out of my game. The friend i was in party with is lvl 160 So i can't join him anymore, and my whole buddy list is at least lvl 60+ so can't join them either...
My profile have been reset to 0 and lost all the money...

I've been able to join after today reset. Then i got a crash while playing and can't join anymore... nice :/

One friend is in a game... but at level 114. So I can't effing play yet. WTF is this Valve/Steam?

I got the same error. However i played the game yesterday night..then i tried to join a friends game and it told me that i cant join a game with 10 lvls higher than i completed previously.
Upon resuming my game it bumped me into a game way higher than 10 lvl above my level.

That disconeected then and from then on i couldn't join again..even after the supposed daily reset. I went ahead and tried it at a diffrent machine at the office. Still the same error.

This is one of those half$#%ed steam stale activities wich seemed like a cool thing but obviously only works out for a fraction of the community.
Recently Valve has done a great job at disappointing me constantly!

I saw the reset, I joined the waiting room and after 1k players finished loading I got msg that the game has ended, recived 1 card and thrown out. Now I still cannot join the game.
