AimTrak Light Gun

I am rebuilding my Mame cabinet and I bought 2 light guns as a upgrade and a trackball.

My question is ... Is there any light gun supported games on Steam? I have set these guns up in windows on a secondary computer while I am rebuilding my control panel and I want to play with them without setting up Mame on this PC. Any help through steam for this?

Thanks admin for moving this to a section that only has people in it that can't figure out how to run your games or are having trouble with their wallet. I could not make it past page 2 of that crap. After 5 pages I still can't see this post you moved less than 5 hours ago.

Admin Move this back to hardware please, I am asking if there are any games that support a Light gun, Light gun is Hardware. I do not need help with anything and there are no tips involved.
Better still how about a Steam rep tell me yes or no instead of moving the post to a topic that gets nothing but "Help! my stuff don't work fix it!"

Because I've only just noticed your post. I didn't see it in the hardware forum as I don't post there - as an ex-programmer, I'm a software guy. But seriously, have you seen the list of light-gun supported games on WikiPedia? It's tiny, and most of the games predate Steam itself. Hell, Sega ported House of The Dead: Overkill over to the PC and had to make it into a typing trainer in order to find a market:

Most devs these days have never seen a light-gun outside of an arcade or (more likely) a video game museum tour.

Right on man, I am just giving Steam a hard time for moving my post.

Google comes up with a few more topics here inside Steam than even the Steam search does ... lol funny really. All of them being old posts and at least a year out or more ... Seems like Steam itself does not support 1:1 mouse input so I am out of luck untill they decide to implement that.
Thanks for your effort though, I will finish up the Mame cabinet this weekend I hope as all the parts are here now.

as a note it is funny to read that most people feel that a light gun is not useable unless you have a CRT. And that the Wii is the best console for light gun games, lol

Found that link while searching for light guns here in the states. Lists Light gun compatable PC games. The second one Blue Estates is a steam game and a new release, I might give it a shot (haha) but I have now got my Mame cabinet up and working again and almost finished with the upgrades.
