Skyrim mod help please
So this all started when I upgraded to my new computer my old one ran skyrim mods perfectly fine with no flaws but then I got my new computer and its not skyrims fault its nmm fault I started downloading my old mods and after the first mod it gave me an error saying the file is corrupt did not install and this happens for every mod idk what to do no one else on the internet has this issue and I have no idea how to fix this I think it might have something to do with the fact that i now have 2 hard drives and have absolutely no idea how to use them at this point because thats the only true difference between the two computers. please help ive been trying so hard to fix this over the last few weeks and nothing has worked i have reset skyrim 4 times reinstalled nmm im about to system restore the computer to see if it fixes it im that desperate please help T_T

If the error says one or more of the mod files are corrupt, it could be that a program on your computer is blocking/removing them.
what do you mean like anti virus? because im useing the same one as before i would assume it wouldnt change anything
Antivirus would be a typical example, yes. Since you now have two new hard drives, it wouldn't hurt to check them for errors.
so this is the error i get when i try to install COT in NMM "could not extract files! Message: File is currupted. Crc Check has failed." any idea what this means?
CRC, or cyclic redundancy check, is a way of ensuring the integrity of downloaded data. If the CRC fails, then the file has either been altered or corrupted. Are you downloading the mods from a reputable source?
That shouldn't be causing a problem then. I assume you're not using a download manager or anything like that; if so, try in your browser instead. Or if you are using a browser, try a different browser.
no i am using the nexus mod manager thats the problem all mods work outside of the manager when they are manually installed
Could be an issue with Nexus Mod Manager then. Have you tried reinstalling it?
I'm really sorry, but I don't know what else to suggest. Hopefully another user can help you though. Best of luck.
