Is it possible to remove the big picture button on the top right of steam

Its extremely irritating to accidentally click it and then get locked out of your computer until you find out how to exit big picture mode. It seems like every tutorial I click on is outdated or full of dead links

There is no way to remove that button. If you're constantly clicking it instead of clicking your profile, I'd honestly suggest either finding another way to access your profile or simply ensure your mouse cursor isn't hovering over the icon before clicking.

How do you press it accidentally often enough for it to be such an annoyance? I think I hit it once or twice on accident in over 10+ years.

I dont use it so why tf would I need to leave the trash there.

It used to be way bigger. At least it's tiny now.

As for exiting BPM...

Bottom left corner, click on "Steam."

Choose "Power."

Choose "Exit Big Picture Mode."

You can also use the quick-and-dirty keyboard shortcut to exit BPM: Press Alt-Enter.

You can remove it by editing a .css file or could look into Steam skins.

Alt-F4 is another shortcut to exit BPM.

Then don't use it. As with Crazy Tiger I've maybe hit the button once on accident over my years on steam.
