Shift Tab Error

What happens is that I was playing Payday 2 and when I entered shift tab the screen froze, and when it unfrozen the pointer looked like the shape of the pointer to enlarge a tab, from there I can only play the games but not open shift tab normally, it won't let me click and nothing.

Delete games own overlay, right click each own game properties and find the topic and hope it help.

I understood what you meant by disabling the own overlay, but what I don't understand is when you say "find the topic." What do you mean? Also, if I disable it, I won't be able to use the shift tab, which I want to do. Thank you very much.

Steam has make a privacy sections on each game so you can delete that overlay for that game alone, i'm not talking about turn off overlay on that game.

This is newer steam option, but we are many that now got use to that option is there. now it seen as self explaned, and i hope it solve whatever issue is with that game own overlay.

It's same as steam "in game" option in steam setting then you are not in a game, steam mad things so complicated, or that person that made the topic has no clue how bad that word is.

i asusme you have not turn off overlay for all games,
whatout for other overlay can interfere with steam, this is seen before.
same as oldf dos game that use TAB ( tomb raider ) was one of them i played way back.
point is with your payday2 issue and hope reset game own ovarlay will fix whatever this is.

Do be in pause in game or meun, i mean shift tab in a online game, can be to much for some pc to have the game run in the background.
