How to verify installation of DLCs?

I've bought a buttload of games recently ( about 25) and frequently worry about whether or not Steam installed the promised extras. I am talking about games I have never played so in most cases I don't know what content is core and what is a free extra promised by Steam.

I know how to go to Manage and Browse Local Files bit often there is no DLC folder.

I'm sure that Steam delivers but occassionally a glitch happens.

So is there a way to verify installation of the Extras by Steam.

If I buy DLCs elsewhere I receive an activation key.

On the games details page of the game in your library, scroll down and look to the right hand column for DLC and click on manage my X DLC, check/uncheck what you do/don't want.

Alternatively, right click the game in your library, select properties and then the DLC tab, check/uncheck what you do/don't want.
