Generally, you can do this by pressing CTRL+R and entering taskmgr.exe or alternatively by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE and selecting Task Manager.
Once open navigate to the Performance tab of Task Manager and you should see a graphs displaying the load.
Whichever graph is full is probably cause, be it C or D drive.
At the bottom there's a shortcut labeled Open Resource Monitor and this can used to gather more telemetry on the issue.
Data Left on C Drive: It's possible that some residual data or configuration files were left on the C drive after moving the Steam folder. Check if there are any leftover files in the original Steam directory on C: that might be affecting performance. You may want to clean up any remnants to ensure a smoother transition.
Game Cache and Settings: When moving games, sometimes the shader cache or other settings do not transfer properly. You might want to verify the game files through Steam. Right-click on the game in your library, select "Properties," go to the "Local Files" tab, and click "Verify Integrity of Game Files." This can help replace any missing or corrupted files.
Performance Settings: Make sure that your graphics settings in the game are optimized for your current hardware setup. Sometimes, transferring to a different drive can lead to changes in how resources are accessed, which can affect performance.
Drive Speed and Fragmentation: If your D: drive is an HDD rather than an SSD, it could be slower in loading data compared to your previous setup. Consider moving the game back to an SSD if you have one available, as this can significantly improve load times and reduce stuttering.
Background Processes: Check for any background applications that might be using system resources while you're playing. Sometimes, background downloads or processes can interfere with game performance.
Reinstalling the Game: If all else fails, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling Marvel Puzzle Quest on the D: drive. This can ensure that all necessary files are correctly placed and configured for optimal performance.
By taking these steps, you should be able to mitigate the stuttering issues you're experiencing after moving Steam to a different drive.

Don't think I've seen this happen to me yet. Will keep observing
I checked the Integrity part, everything is in order.
Seems like it might be an HDD issue (Drive D is)...
Below are instructions to scan the C:\ drive, to scan another drive replace C for the line containing "chkdsk C: /r", with the drive letter.
You may also want to run an SFC scan, followed by closing with verifying the integrity of your game files for the game you are having issues with.
Once the above is complete, launch your game again and see if the problem persists or not.
