Steam is detecting my Xbox series X controller as an xbox one
Hello.
I've found a couple of threads like this but without any fix, one was closed and another one had one user claiming that reinstalling steam solved the issue but I'm still having this issue.

Steam thinks my series x is a one controller, the 'share' button is useless now and I don't know how to revert this situation, it used to work perfectly.

Does anyone know?

Drivers have been updated via windows update and the xbox accessories. No luck whatsoever.
On Windows, Valve's Xbox driver is required for Steam to handle it as an Xbox Series controller:

Steam > Settings > Controller > Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver > Install > Restart
