Stuck "Loading user data..."
I bought a game and got a confirmation Email but didn't show up in my library. The store page for the game said the game should be in my library so I know the purchase went through. I exited Steam and now I can't log back in. I get stuck loading forever.

I CAN LOG IN TO MY OTHER ACCOUNT ON THE SAME PC. IT IS NOT A NETWORK ISSUE.

I tried rebooting my PC. I changed my account password. I'm clearly not banned since I can log in through a browser, but I am now locked out of my own game library. I submitted a support ticket.

I've seen others online say there is no fix and it just fixes itself eventually, or sometimes a support ticket can prompt the support team to "refresh" your account and fix it. Does anyone know of a real fix?

FIXED: I went to Steam/config and deleted config.vdf, loginusers.vdf, and DialogConfig.vdf

I don't know if I only needed to delete one and not all of these but that fixed it for me.

Very odd.

No steam special settings or edit .vdf files some steam user have done in the past ?
