Mouse clicks not registering in any game?

Help. Every game I try and play starts with the screen windowed and very small, and my mouse clicks are not registering. All other keyboard keys are registering, just not the mouse. The game still detects the mouse hovering over the screen, but clicks do nothing. : (

This happened after I tried to play Fields of Mistria, my arrow keys were able to select buttons in the start menu but i was unable to click anything to fix the tiny window view or get into the settings.

I then checked several other games and all had the same problem.

I have tried:
Unplugging and replugging my mouse
Removing all other input into my computer
Restarting the game and steam
Redownloading the games themselves
Turning off steam overlay

Any ideas?
