Steam network transfer
Hi Everyone,

I am using Steam network transfer between two computers on my network.

I connected both these PC's via a CAT 6 cable to a Switch that has 1Gb ports. When I check on network adaptors I can see that my connection speed is on 1.0Gbps on both computers.

The problem is that I only get a max of 130Mbps network transfer speed.
Any advice on what to do?

PC specs for both are similar.
i9-14th gen
64GB RAM
With NVME's and no banana for scale as the banana game hasn't finished transferring.

I only get 130 Megabytes(Mbps) which is about 10Megabit(MBps).

I should be getting 1Gbps which is 100MBps.

Megabytes - Mbps

So, 130 Megabytes is = ~1 gigabit.

Sorry yes I had a blonde moment. But still I do not get the right amount of transfer speed anyway as it is 130 Mbps and not MBps. Potato tomato
