AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition (Zero RPM) BSOD - Game Crashes
[AMD GPUs]

The Zero RPM should be disabled by default. I have experienced crashes in numerous games and blue screens of death (BSOD) with Windows software. The issue is that the Zero RPM feature doesn't ramp the fans fast enough to cool the GPU resulting in overheating. If you guys have the full install of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition be sure to turn off that feature.

Steps in turning off Zero RPM:

1. Go to performance

2. Tuning

3. GPU Tuning Control - Manual Tuning (Custom)

3. Fan Tuning - Enabled

4. Zero RPM - Disable

It's fine if you've got adequate cooling. My 7900XTX idles around 40C. When I start a game, the fans kick in, and it rises to 55C. The hotspot is significantly hotter, of course, but that's still around 70C in-game. I've actually thought about slowing the fans down a bit because they're kind of loud.

If you bought a prebuilt PC, that might be a bad option to enable, though.
