SteamDB Free promotion games
I went onto steamdb and downloaded their free-to-keep free promotion games. and when I tried to launch it. it told me I had no license to play it

I have the same problem
my only guess is that the promo ended, even though it says free to keep. but the deal ended and they havent changed it? im not exactly sure as to why it does that. Because diablo did not have that issue, only humankind

on the Steamdb website in the section "free promotions", the game is there and listed as free

This specific DLC for that game is free until the end of the month...

But you still have to own the base game first though in order to claim it.

Edit: I also just checked the site, and there's currently no "free-to-keep" games outside the DLC mentioned. The others were "free-to-play" for a limited amount of time and most of those are over (as their respective promotions ended during the weekend).

I just got Metro 2033: Redux for absolutely free on the website. I tried it on a whim (I'd heard of it on YouTube) but I didn't think it'd actually work
