what do i do when steam support fails!?
Don't try for lets say 24 hours. i have no idea what the cooldown might be, if there is one, but Steam cooldowns generally reset whenever you try doing the thing before the cooldown has expired.
If it does not have a cooldown, Steams hiccup should also be fixed.
That's a lie. I have contacted Steam support many times in the past, and they have emailed me back.
Removing game is just a round about way of just hiding them from your library. Which you can already do with liek 3 clicks for 100 games. There's very little reason to outright remove them
Since mass removal of games is extremely uncommon, you've likely triggered a failsafe on Steam's end as it may be indicative of an accoutn hijack
Well, My family has had a couple small issues lately that support tickets were created... and the responses were abysmal.
It took 3 more responses to even actually address my problem. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd responses were out of context completely, much like the forum moderation here these days. And they finally said "so sorry, we can't do anything about it..."
Oh really? Valve's store, website, community, Steam client, databases but their support can't even forward the VERIFIED issue to the proper department, apparently...
My wife's issue (purchased DLC from bundle purchase not showing up) was handled no better and she just gave up.
I can't imagine the frustration with an actual critical problem and having to deal with these people.
You're not telling the truth. I gave you the link to contact them and you still pretend it doesn't exist.
Support doesn't not have an email address to contact them with, only the ticket system...
