Am I hacked?
I was not long ago alerted by my friends as I had put in chat stevmcommunity (followed by a web address), I shortened it so none of you click it or anything. I have been and changed my password and made sure all devices get logged off. I have turned on the 2fa thing. Was this me being hacked or am I over complicating things. Thanks

Here are the steps to secure your account.

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)
Thank you for the speedy response. I’ll try these now.
All sorted, thanks so much for your help, my epic account is less fortunate right now, I just wish they were as quick as valve and its community were.
