Can you block someone on your friends list if they are apart of your Steam family?

Theoretically speaking, should you fall out with a sibling or other family member can you block them on Steam Friends if you're both apart of the same Steam Family?

Considering Steam Families is meant for close-knit family sharing at least one household, while yes, it's technically possible, it's, considering the physical implications (living in the same household), pointless.
