Weird bug with Steam

Okay so, this is only for Steam App on my laptop as it works fine for my browser (currently writing on browser). But basically, on my app, I am basically 24/7 offline and it acts as if I am not signed in. I can't press "Go Online" as it doesn't work nor can I download games and play them online.

I have reinstalled Steam and it worked... once. I restarted my laptop and the problem occurs again. Any idea what to do?

Are you in family share view. ( i'm ref, to not be online only. )

Either steam has a bug With FS or its one of them newer thingy maybe if you stay in FS then somehow top right name is not Bluish name.

You need client for play them.

Don't forget to try Steam Beta or get out of it.

I don't even have Family Share enabled.
I've also tried Steam Beta and got out of it afterward, neither option worked.

The only thing that fixed it was re-downloading Steam all over again but the thing is that it immediately reset back to the problem once I shut-down my laptop for the night, and it's pretty annoying having to reinstall every games I had just to play online with friends.

Not good now you have so many other issue, steam ports issue , or other firewall in/out issue in windows firewall.

I also think if you have a spare pc or friends laptop to double check , yes its my pc issue only then it work at hes pc. ( this can be seen as not a steamm issue or ISP then it work, + you also just cleasr your router then it work at test pc.

Now you can focus on all other things ( cable wifi issue to Netcard driver or system on your pc cause this. ( or interference issue with app. )

Have you tried the Loopback Ethernet fix? I have the same issue, trying to find a better solution. This one is fine for now though ig
