Till this point I had zero reasons to care about it, and if Steam didn't demand me to use their spyware, I would still having zere reasons to care about it. The ironic and incompetent part is, that they demand something, while they also refuse and over complicate for no reason.
What's funny is that... The service is terrible, no question asked, but then it's somehow my faulty.
It's like, what next, blame on me any crisis on my country, or perhaps saying that the sad disastrous outcome of GoT, has anything to do with me, because I hate it after season 4+.

In what universe does it make sense?
I was hoping that I was missing something extremely obvious, that a digital retailer wasn't asking me to give a physical copy, which I don't have, because it's simply madness.
But now I realize that it's somehow my faulty that I forgot that there's a number that doesn't jack s and I should've remembered to not forget when I changed my number, out of necessity, from YEARS ago.
People are delusional.
But, they need to make sure you're the original owner of the account. And if you cannot provide the correct proofs of ownership, it can be considered questionable that you're the original one.
Edit: Also, the app is not mandatory as long as you're ok with the holds. If you don't want the holds, then it should be obvious you need to use the existing security features.
Also always keep your info updated on whatever platform/service you use.
The waiting is too long man. Prices shift, besides there's no reason for that to happen at first place.
Also having to manually confirm each card, when you have hudrends of them... Too much busy work.
1. click to open the e-mail, another to confirm, now multiply it for hudrends. It's senseless.
And yeah, I've replied the support. I am still waiting for god knows what.
