Question about alternative accounts registered on different regions
I am Turkish, i have a friend from US that is trying to gift me money but apparently i am not eligible for wallet gifts.

My question is, can i create an alternate account in a region and accept the money there , and use that account to gift myself as i see games i want? I realise i could just have this friend gift me instead but keeping track of how much i've spent out of the gift money is very bothersome. And honestly i don't want to bother them everytime i want to buy something.

Also there is no laundry scheme or whatever, we are two very real human beings just trying to find a workaround for the problem.

Alternatively, if this issue is normally not supposed to happen and it is happening due to our accounts specifically please let me know the information i have is contradicting with each other.

Bypassing any region restrictions is grounds for terminate of all accounts. You're required to be in the region your account is set to.

Your friend from the US should be able to gift you a digital Steam gift card. Although physical gift cards are currency-locked, digital gift cards will be converted to local currency. Where this will not work is with countries that the US has sanctions. There is a general limitation with using wallet funds to send gifts. Your friend in the US needs to pay for the digital gift card with an external payment method such as credit card.

And that’s exactly why Valve introduced the system. So that you couldn’t bypass it. It works exactly how it should.
