I want to change my username.

I'm going through some changes and getting things going in my life and would like to change my username when i log in. I've been able to change just about everything else, from my profile name to my email and all that, just not the login username. Thanks for any help I'm able to get!

Thats the neat part. You can't.
Effectively trapping you to relive your past even though you may have moved on.

The devs(or at least one of them) admitted to messing up and now it just cannot be altered and there's no way to fix their code.

The best you can do is set up a second account and family share those games that allow it to the new one.
