(Steam > Settings > Controller > PlayStation Controller Support)
Hi, ty for answering.
I've tried that as well and it works too, but it's my understanding that while this option is set to Enabled, Steam basically re-writes PS to Xbox, disabling DS special features and changing glyphs to Xbox ones in some of the games.
So looks like this is not a hardware issue, but I cant figure it out,
Is this just about Steam's rumble tester or are you not getting rumble in games?
If Steam's rumble test, that's how its coded - it doesn't send rumble signals to the DualSense (same should go for DualShock 4) unless PS Controller Support = Enabled.
p.s. UNLESS I turn on steam ps to xbox or ds4w ps to xbox conversion, but I'm pretty sure it's not normal, some games like BG3 have built-in DS support and shouldn't require Steam overlay/ds4w. Something somewhere is broken

Did you come across another title where things didn't seem right?
Yeah I've downloaded RE4 today specifically to test it and yeah, it works fine.
So its BG3s error which I find really odd, I mean those both are new games with supposed "full native DS support".
Thanks for the link
