Soundtrack question

I rarely use steam due to my schedule so I am not familiar with functions. I recently bought some game soundtracks with the sale and with some searching, found them on my account and I am listening to State of Decay while I type. I read other threads on soundtracks, but didn't see an answer to my main question.

I would like to download these to the old iPod I use in my old car while commuting to and from work. It sounds like (from old threads) these were downloaded to my computer because I selected "download" for the games and separate soundtracks I bought in the recent sale. I just can't find them. Any help is appreciated. I'm hoping I didn't buy these if they can only be played on my PC.

Some soundtracks were never updated to the new DLC type and have to be downloaded with the game itself. Others don't require you to download the game.

Either way, you can copy the soundtracks over to any device you want.

Where do I find the soundtracks to download? Once I made the purchase there was a download button, but I don't recall where they downloaded - I am not computer savvy. All I see on steam is what I bought and the ability to play them on the PC with the steam player, but no way to tell where they are on my PC, if they went there, which it sounds like they should have. If I buy from Amazon, the music is in my downloads folder, no so in this case.

Soundtracks that have the property of soundtrack (they have their own entry in your Steam Library) will be downloaded to: …\Steam\steamapps\music\

Could navigate to them via Steam like this:
Right-click the soundtrack in your Steam Library > Manage > Browse local files

Or could click the 'Browse Local Files' button

Seems like you're dealing with the above but for info:
For Soundtracks that have the property of DLC, search in the game's installation folder.
Right-click the game in your Steam Library > Manage > Browse local files

The state of decay soundtrack uses the new soundtrack DLC model so you can purchase it separate from the game.

That means it will be in \steam\steamapps\music\<directory>

You can import this directory into iTunes and then sync to your iPod
